Denise Marie, I wear white skin and I can’t know what you are feeling-although your words here make them so well expressed. I have some of those same feelings. Horror at the depth of depravity that would cause a human to inflict such pain-the ultimate pain of needless death-upon other human beings. I can’t watch the video but I feel I must watch. To bear witness. To share in the outrage. “I’m so sorry” is all I can think to say.
We, as abuse survivors-who had crimes committed against us as innocents-share a small fraction of this helpless feeling of this victim. And we grieve because we know a very little bit of how it felt. It triggers us. But it should outrage everyone-victim of abuse or not. My heart as a human is completely broken.💔
