She stood

back from

the ledge of

familiar,

and viewed

each wall

that had

compiled itself

around the

perimeters of

her bleeding

heart.

She quietly

stood still

as peace

tauntingly

stood before her,

appearing

like an old

unfamiliar

friend.

There, in this

place of unrest

she quietly

stepped back,

removed

the blinders

from her eyes,

and surrendered

her life,

for His promise.
